2. What We Offer
The Elite Programmes
These courses are specially designed by experts from the UK, and will offer students the best chances for improvement when learning English. For eight, hours a week they will be taught by experts from the University of Cambridge and enter the exciting world of learning.
Adventures, challenges and fun will open the doors to a great learning experience.
Students of the Elite Programme benefit from the most modern recourses such as the internet, Muzzy (for Young Learners), and more.
Normal Programmes
The Normal Programmes are designed by experts from the UK, and will offer students a great chance for improvement when learning English. For eight hours a week they will be taught by foreign experts and teachers, who are all qualified by the University of Cambridge or have a teaching certificate from other renowned institutions, and enter the challenging world of learning.
Adventures, challenges, and fun will open the doors to a great learning experience.
English Caf?
Because learning English can be stressful and not to mention exhausting, we offer students the perfect place to let down their hair and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere that learning a language can bring.
In Mishi Mishi bar they are welcome to have a drink, on Friday evenings, together with teachers, foreigners, and classmates.

4. Our Self- Access Centre
Do it yourself!
Students, Teachers, and Members of CILS Lijiang are welcome to make use of our SAC. We have all the resources you need to study by yourself in a safe and relaxed environment. All services and facilities are free. Use the Internet to practice your English online, watch a DVD or read one of our many novels.
The perfect location.
Our SAC is located on the third floor and is connected to our roof terrace. Here you can enjoy the shade or sun shine while reading or studying. Parents don?t worry! Our roof top has been especially modified to secure your child?s safety.

Job description: As one of our teachers you?ll be required to teach General English, Business English, and Exam Preparation courses to both Adults and Young Learners for about 16 ? 20 hours per week. Courses are taught at all levels (from beginner to Upper-Intermediate) and there will be maximum 12 students in your class.

Job description:
This part time job is perfect for those who wish to make a quick extra buck. You will be expected to go around town and promote our school and her courses. For every student who signs up and pays for a course thanks to you, you?ll receive a 5% commission on the course fee.

Supervisor of the SAC (Self-Access Centre)
Job description:
You will have to supervise our SAC and see if everyone obeys the rules. You will also need to register who has taken out books, and you are in charge of keeping track which books have been returned and which haven?t. You will need to check student and member IDs and make sure that no one enters the restricted section. The children who make use of the SAC are also under your supervision and their safety is your responsibility.

Our school is located in the centre of Lijiang and just outside of Lijiang Old Town. Bus nr. 2 stops in front of our door and we are situated just 5 minutes away (walking) from busses nr. 1,3,4,8 and 11. Not to mention that taxis ride day and night.
Safety first!
Parents don?t worry. Our school is just off the main road, so your children will not be crossing the streets when they come out of their class rooms.
